General Information
Path Settings
Be sure to set new path settings in VODAdmin before backing up any of your DVD/VCD/MPEG/MP3/JPG files.
VOD – files in which songs and movies are saved.
MPEG – files in which My Videos are saved.
MP3 – files in which MP3 are saved
JPEG – files in which Photos are saved
Song and Movie VOD files
Song and Movie files must be must be saved as VOD files in order to play in VODAdmin or in VODHome. Use the VODHome converter when backing up songs or movies from your VCD/DVD discs.
Song or Movie MPEG files
Song or Movie MPEG format files must have .vod extension names. Remember to change extension names after backing up mpeg files as songs or movies.
Home video files
My Video files must be saved in MPEG first before they are backed up in VODAdmin. Remember to save your home video files in mpg format and place them in a folder named “MyVideos”.
Update All Data
Be sure to update all data after editing any information in VODAdmin. If files have been added or deleted, be sure to check the prompt box before updating all data.
Sensor Error
If the USB sensor is not connected, a “Sensor Error” will display.
No Card Error
If the Video card is not installed, or not connected properly, or drivers not installed, a “No Card Error” will display.

Frequently Ask Question
VOD Admin
“No VOD files found” message appears when VOD files are not found in the designated path.
Check to see if the path does have VOD files, and the proper path is designated. (refer to 4.1 Data Input above for details)
Be sure MPEG file extensions have be renamed to .vod
VCD (DAT files) and DVD files have been converted. (refer to 4.1.10 Add Song above for details)
“No files found” message appears when VOD/MPEG files are not found in the designated path.
Check to see if the path does have VOD or MPEG files, and the proper path is designated. (refer to 4.1 Data Input above for details)
Be sure the home video file has been saved as MPEG file.
Changes made in Edit functions (search path, language, artist, country, category, favorite etc.) do not show in Add Song/Movie, Add Photo, Add MP3.
Close VODAdmin and re-open.
Artist photos added in VODAdmin do not appear in VOD Home
Be sure Artist photos have been saved in VODHome, in Data/SingerPhoto folder.
Be sure Original Artist box is checked in VODAdmin, Edit/Artist/Edit.
Be sure to Update all data in VODAdmin.
Songs do not appear in Song View window
Be sure to click on “Song” at top left of Song View window.
VOD Home
New songs, movies, photos, MP3 are not seen in the VOD Home menus
Update song, movie, photo, MP3 data in VODAdmin Edit.
“No Card or Driver” message
Be sure Video Card and necessary drivers have been properly installed.
